Comfort Temp Heating and Air in Gainesville, Florida, is seeking a Residential Service Technician. You will travel to homes and businesses, diagnose HVAC issues, perform repairs and maintenance, and install new heating, cooling, and ventilation systems.

If you're a reliable, self-motivated HVAC technician with a current state license and EPA certification, you can make a meaningful impact on our customers' comfort and well-being.

Qualifications

• Completion of an HVAC training program at a vocational school or apprenticeship.
• Current state HVAC technician license.
• Certification through the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) to handle refrigerants.
• Proficiency with manual and power tools used in HVAC repair and installation.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Demonstrated reliability and self-motivation in previous roles.

Responsibilities

• Travel to homes and businesses as scheduled to address HVAC service requests.
• Determine customer concerns with their current HVAC system and provide expert recommendations.
• Inspect current HVAC systems for effectiveness and safety, identifying any issues or areas for improvement.
• Perform necessary repairs and routine maintenance to ensure optimal system performance.
• Install new heating, cooling, and ventilation systems according to industry standards and manufacturer specifications.
• Maintain accurate inventory of all equipment and HVAC resources to ensure efficient service delivery.
