Job summary

Comfort Temp Heating and Air in Jacksonville, FL is seeking a full-time HVAC Commercial Preventative Maintenance Technician to travel to commercial properties for routine maintenance and inspections. You will work with air handlers, rooftop units, chillers, and boilers, ensuring optimal performance and safety.

The ideal candidate has 1–2 years of HVAC maintenance experience, completed HVAC training, and EPA certification.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years experience in commercial HVAC maintenance or related field.
• Completion of HVAC training program at a vocational school or apprenticeship preferred.
• EPA certification required.
• Ability to lift more than 50 pounds regularly and occasionally more than 75 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Travel to commercial properties as scheduled.
• Perform routine maintenance on commercial HVAC systems, including air handlers, rooftop units, chillers, cooling towers, and boilers.
• Conduct detailed inspections to identify potential issues before they escape.
• Check refrigerant levels, belts, motors, filters, and overall system performance.
• Clean coils, fans, and other essential components to ensure efficiency.
• Maintain accurate inventory of equipment, HVAC tools, and resources.
• Document and report maintenance findings, recommendations, and completed work.
• Assist senior technicians with repairs or system upgrades as needed.

• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
