Job summary

Valdes Architecture & Engineering is seeking a seasoned Project Director to lead CTG/CCGT projects from development through COD in the United States. You will manage EPC contractors and OEMs such as GE, Siemens and Mitsubishi, and maintain scope, schedule, and budgets typically ranging from $300M to $1B+.

You will align commercial, regulatory, and operational requirements and coordinate closely with our project engineering team and Owner’s Engineer.

Qualifications

• Bachelors in Engineering, Construction, PM or related field required.
• Master’s degree or MBA preferred.
• 5+ years managing construction-related projects.
• 3+ years with pipeline construction and project budgets.
• Travel 30-40%, US work eligibility without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Lead all phases of CTG/CCGT project execution from development to COD.
• Manage EPC contractors and OEMs (GE, Siemens, Mitsubishi).
• Set and monitor project scope, schedule, and budget ($300MM–$1B+).
• Ensure compliance with commercial, regulatory, and operational requirements.
• Coordinate Engineering & Technical activities with Owner’s Engineer.
• Oversee construction management: civil works, turbine installation, electrical/I&C.
• Maintain safety, productivity, and quality; drive milestone reporting.
• Enforce HSE standards and zero-incident culture.
