Job summary

Amentum is seeking a CTF Assistant Lab Manager to oversee day-to-day IT testbed operations at Schriever Space Force Base, CO. The role requires leadership of Delivery Team activities, collaboration with system admins and cyber experts, and ensuring compliance with the Performance Work Statement and baselines.

Ideal candidates will have 10+ years of general IT work, 5+ years in related roles, DoD 8570 II clearance, and DoW Secret clearance.

Qualifications

• Must have 10+ years of general (full-time) work experience.
• Must have 5+ years of directly related experience.
• Must have 6+ months in a management or leadership role.
• Knowledge of systems engineering processes and risk management.
• Experience supervising IT and technical professionals.
• Active DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification or higher (Security+ CE, CySA, etc.).
• Active DoW Secret Security Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Assist the CTF manager in day-to-day supervision, oversight, planning and execution of the IT testbed.
• Be the technical lead for all Delivery Team activities in the C2BMC Test Facility.
• Identify challenges and implement strategies to mature the program.
• Ensure teams meet contractual duties within PWS and baselines.
• Collaborate with system admins, network engineers and cyber experts to solve complex problems.
• Provide engineering and technical direction to team members as needed.
• Establish and implement processes to achieve efficient IT operations.
• Advise on system development, processes, and optimization efforts.
• Maintain configuration management in coordination with the CM team.
• Develop readiness and status briefs for internal/external stakeholders.
