Position Summary

The qualified candidate will perform duties and responsibilities necessary to support the area to which they are assigned in the classroom.

Qualifications

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Safety of stockroom & classroom.
  • Interested in Industrial Technology & knowledge of equipment.
  • Receiving, storage and rotation of supplies.
  • Self‑directed, efficient, good communication skills.
  • Functions as an effective team member.
  • Must be able to multi‑task efficiently.
Knowledge and Skills
  • Ability to read, analyze and interpret documents such as correspondence, surveys and electronic media.
  • Ability to write professional communications.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and concisely.
  • Ability to complete and apply basic mathematics concepts.
  • Ability to respond to questions from individuals and groups.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships.
Physical Demands and Work Environment
  • Employee must be able to sit, talk or hear regularly, stand, walk and operate duplicating machines and computer equipment, reach with hands and arms, and repeat actions with the same hand, arm or finger motion such as when typing.
  • Specific vision abilities required include close vision and the ability to adjust focus; ability to withstand long‑term use of video display terminals (VDT) is required.
  • Employee may occasionally lift up to 30 pounds such as reference books.
  • The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate and the pace of work tasks is fast.
  • Work is usually conducted at one job site; occasionally the employee will be required to attend meetings, conferences, workshops or events at other sites as assigned.
