Qualifications

• NYS Teaching Assistant Certification (any level) is required.
• Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• Experience working with students in educational, technical or vocational settings preferred.
• Experience in Career and Technical Education, Construction or Electric Vehicle Automotive is preferred.
• Ability to support student success, workplace readiness, career explorations and safety.
• OSHA 10 certification must be completed prior to 10/1/2026. To be provided by the District.

Responsibilities

• Assist in classroom and laboratory instruction under the direction of a certified teacher.
• Prepare instructional materials and monitor student progress and behavior.
• Maintain a safe, organized learning environment and support tools/equipment/technology.
• Support employability skills development and work-based learning activities.
