Job summary

Texas Education Agency seeks a Career and Technical Education Postsecondary Pathways and Credentialing Specialist to align statewide CTE pathways with postsecondary credentials and workforce needs. The role drives state initiatives, collaborates with HE boards, and advances pathways from high school to college and careers.

The position requires strategic planning, data analysis, and strong partnerships across TEA, higher education, and industry to ensure students access high-value credentials

Qualifications

• Experience leading statewide or cross-agency education initiatives.
• Knowledge of CTE/credentialing frameworks and related postsecondary pathways.
• Ability to analyze data to inform policy recommendations and program design.

Responsibilities

• Lead statewide alignment of CTE pathways with postsecondary credentials.
• Cultivate partnerships with TEA, higher education, and industry stakeholders.
• Oversee dual credit and credentialing strategy implementation.
• Analyze credential attainment and program outcomes to inform policy.
• Develop a cohesive five-year strategic plan for CTE pathways.
