Job summary

Lake Land College seeks an Assistant to support Career and Technical Education Programs with routine tasks such as student assistance and classroom/lab duties. The role includes assisting the instructor during lectures or labs, supervising the lab during non-class times, and helping with lab prep and cleanup.

Responsibilities also include supporting the Perkins department with special projects related to CTE programs and performing other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience: Prior experience in office setting preferred.
• Knowledge: Microsoft Office, Communication.
• Personal: Ability to work independently; ability to follow directions, rules and guidelines; reliability and dependability; outgoing and friendly personality.
• Physical: Ability to lift 25lbs.

Responsibilities

• Assist instructor in classroom during regularly scheduled lectures or labs.
• Oversee a lab during non-class times so students can utilize the lab and receive assistance if needed.
• Assist faculty with lab preparation and cleanup.
• Assist the Perkins department with special projects related to CTE programs.
• Other duties as assigned.
