Job summary

Warren County Career Center in Lebanon, Ohio is seeking a Career Tech Classroom/Lab Assistant – Main Campus (Replacement). The role supports students in the career-technical laboratory and classroom, assisting with materials, attendance records and field trips.

Responsibilities include direct student support, helping with lab prep, inventory, and ensuring a professional appearance. An Ohio educator license or willingness to obtain, plus a background check, are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's degree in related area preferred.
• Holds credential for designated career-technical laboratory (preferred).
• Ohio Educator licensure or permit (or be willing to obtain).
• Must pass a criminal background check.
• Hold a valid Ohio Driver's License.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct student support in the career-technical laboratory or related classroom.
• Assist small groups of students during lab activities.
• Help prepare instructional materials and processes for laboratory activities.
• Maintain attendance and performance records.
• Assist with inventorying instructional materials and equipment and perform minor maintenance.
• Attend field trips related to the lab setting.
• Assist with program orientation for new students.
• Ensure professional appearance at all times.
• Notify the teacher if students are not meeting goals.
• Other duties as assigned.
