Qualifications

• Degree or cert requirements in CTE field with demonstrated eligibility or certification as a CTE instructor.
• Two or more years of experience for higher education or three years for school-based roles, per the JD.
• Knowledge of CTE regulations, codes and Florida standards.

Responsibilities

• Promote the highest possible student CTE achievement.
• Implement and assess the assigned CTE instructional program at MTC.
• Oversee the student CTE testing program for the career subject area.
• Follow guidelines for proper student conduct and implement disciplinary procedures and policies that ensure a safe and orderly environment.
• Ensure instruction curricula is aligned with District, State and MTC goals and frameworks.
• Establish a vision and mission for the assigned CTE subject area in collaboration with stakeholders.
• Maintain and model high standards of professional conduct. Set high standards and expectations for self, others, and school.
• Provide recognition and celebration for student, staff and school accomplishments.
