Job summary

State of Iowa - Executive Branch seeks a dedicated professional to strengthen CTE and applied science programming across Iowa schools. You will provide technical assistance, lead professional learning, and build strong relationships with educators, districts, and community colleges.

The role focuses on program development, budget and accountability guidance, and alignment with federal Perkins legislation. Travel may be required to support statewide initiatives.

Qualifications

• Minimum requirements include educational policy work experience and/or administrative experience.
• Experience interpreting state or federal education law is preferred.
• Ability to translate complex regulatory information into practical guidance.

Responsibilities

• Partner with educators to strengthen applied science instruction and CTE programming.
• Provide technical assistance and professional learning to support program development.
• Coordinate with schools and colleges to develop and improve CTE programs.
