Detroit Public Schools Community District seeks a Principal for Breithaupt Career and Technical Center to provide visionary, ethical, and strategic leadership for a high school redesign focused on career and technical education. The principal will lead high-quality CTE pathways that connect students to high-skill, high-demand, and high-wage careers.

Formación

Master's Degree required with 20 semester hours in School Administration, Supervision, Curriculum, and School Finance.
State of Michigan Administrator Certification is required.
Must possess a valid Michigan Teacher Certificate for the level being sought.
CTE leadership and instructional experience preferred.
Experience supervising, coaching, and evaluating instructional staff.

Responsabilidades

Provide visionary, ethical, and accountable leadership for CTE programs.
Lead CTE teaching and learning by aligning curriculum and standards.
Drive continuous improvement using program data and credential attainment metrics.
Recruit, develop, evaluate, and retain high-quality CTE educators.
Build and sustain partnerships with employers, postsecondary institutions, and community groups.
