Qualifications

• Valid Indiana Secondary Administration and Supervision License.
• Pursuing or holding CTE Director license.
• At least five years of successful teaching experience; CTE helpful.
• Ability to work well with peers, parents and students.
• Positive public relations image.
• Understanding of CTE and high school curricula.
• Demonstrated leadership qualities.
• Experience with education for special needs students.
• Board may consider alternatives as appropriate.

Responsibilities

• Establishes and maintains an effective learning climate.
• Assist the CTE Director in overall administration of the school.
• Monitor and oversee designated budgetary line items.
• Maintain building records and reports.
• Prepare reports, records and related documents.
• Collaborate with central admin on transportation and services.
• Inform executives about unusual events and activities.
• Articulate CTE State standards to staff and monitor implementation.
• Ensure staff stay updated on best practices.
