Job summary

Crosby Middle School in Crosby, Texas is seeking a CTE - Business Teacher for grades 6-8. Reports to the Principal with a salary range of $68,100 to $79,835 per year. Position is Exempt and starts as soon as possible.

Requirements include a Bachelor’s degree, valid Texas teaching certificate with endorsements for the subject and level, and demonstrated competency in the core subject area. Responsibilities include planning lessons, assessing students, and coordinating with staff and volunteers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from accredited university preferred.
• Valid Texas teaching certificate with endorsements for subject and level assigned.

• Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement lesson plans aligned to district curriculum and show written evidence of preparation.
• Plan and use instructional strategies and materials to meet diverse learning needs.
• Assess student learning and adjust instruction based on results.
• Create an engaging classroom environment and manage behavior.
• Collaborate with staff and supervise teacher aides/volunteers as needed.
• Use technology to strengthen teaching and learning processes.
