Del Valle ISD's Del Valle High School is seeking a CTE - Business/Entrepreneurship Teacher to provide engaging instruction and industry-connected experiences for students. The position requires a Bachelor’s degree and a valid Texas teaching certificate with endorsement for the subject/level, with ESL certification preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited university.
• Valid Texas teaching certificate with required endorsement for subject and level assigned or approved alternative certification program.
• ESL certification (preferred).
• Fingerprinting background check required (non-refundable fee ~$50).
• Must be trained to drive district non-CDL vehicles; safety training provided.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement lesson plans aligned with district curriculum.
• Prepare lessons accommodating diverse learning styles and needs.
• Instruct students and manage behavior in the classroom.
• Use technology to strengthen teaching and learning process.
• Prepare students for post-secondary readiness through CTE activities and industry experiences.
• Oversee internships, IBC testing, and off-campus industry experiences.
