TransPerfect Translations International seeks a remote, client-facing Language Lead to translate and proofread Life Science documents from English into Simplified Chinese (China). You will supervise linguists, oversee QA, and manage language assets like TMs and glossaries, ensuring consistency and regulatory compliance.

You will collaborate with Project Managers on scope and timelines, address client feedback constructively, and uphold high standards across multiple accounts.

Qualifications

• Exceptional written and spoken English and Simplified Chinese (China).
• Experience in Life Science translation preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and grammar accuracy.
• Ability to meet tight deadlines and maintain professionalism.
• Strong client communication and feedback handling.
• Ability to mentor and provide feedback to linguists.
• Collaborative with Project Managers and cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Act as a client-facing linguistic point of contact for TransPerfect.
• Review client complaints, determine root causes and provide corrective actions.
• Maintain language quality standards across projects and accounts.
• Manage translation memories, glossaries, and style guides for accuracy.
