Position Overview

Health Images at South Denver (Parker) is seeking a Part-Time CT/X-ray Technologist. The position offers a pay range of $35.35 - $45.58, working Thursdays and Fridays from 5:45 am to 6:15 pm. A $3,000 sign-on bonus is available for eligible hires. Preference is given to candidates with an MRI registry in progress or an interest in cross-training.

Responsibilities
  1. Interface with patients to gather medical history and explain procedures to ensure optimal imaging results.
  2. Review patient charts for missed information or consent, and screen for implants or allergies.
  3. Obtain prior films/exams and perform high-quality scans for radiologist interpretation.
  4. Care for patients before, during, and after exams, notifying staff of any condition changes.
  5. Transfer images as needed and coordinate scan protocols with radiologists.
  6. Maintain and inspect equipment, reporting any issues promptly.
  7. Communicate with Lead Technologist & Center/Area Manager about departmental concerns.
  8. Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in CT (preferred) and X-Ray (preferred).
  • Ability to educate patients on procedures.
  • Detail-oriented, self-motivated, problem solver, team player.
  • Proficient in navigating multiple computer screens and browsers.
  • Ability to perform in a fast-paced environment and exceed expectations.
  • Strong communication skills and professional demeanor.
Education & Certifications
  • Graduate of an accredited Registered Technologist program.
  • Current ARRT certification.
  • Registry in CT and Radiography.
  • State medical license (if applicable).
  • Current CPR certification.
Work Environment & Physical Demands

This role involves working in a controlled outpatient environment with potential exposure to radiation, bodily fluids, and other hazards. Physical demands include lifting up to 50 pounds, handling objects, and frequent use of hands and fingers. No travel is expected.
