Health Images is hiring a PRN MRI/CT/X-Ray Technologist for our Denver West team. The position offers a pay range of $40.00 - $51.57 per hour, with additional shift differentials.

Position Summary

The Multi-Modality Technologist performs MRI, CT, and X-Ray procedures according to protocols and patient needs, including preparation, positioning, and technical adjustments. The role involves maintaining safety standards, ensuring quality imaging, and supporting patient care throughout the process.

Essential Functions

• Interacts with patients to gather medical history and explains procedures.
• Reviews patient charts and obtains prior imaging if necessary.
• Screens patients for implants, allergies, and other contraindications.
• Performs high-quality scans and submits images for interpretation.
• Provides patient care before, during, and after procedures, reporting any changes in condition.
• Transfers images and coordinates with radiologists on protocols.
• Inspects and maintains equipment, reporting issues promptly.
• Collaborates with lead technologists and management on departmental concerns.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Minimum requirements include:

• At least 2 years of experience in MRI, CT, and X-Ray (preferred).
• Ability to educate patients and operate multiple computer systems efficiently.
• Strong communication skills and a professional demeanor.
• Graduate of an accredited technologist program.
• Current ARRT or ARMRIT certification in MRI, CT, and Radiography.
• State licensure and CPR certification as applicable.

Work Environment and Physical Demands

This position operates in an outpatient clinical setting with potential exposure to radiation, bodily fluids, and infectious materials. Physical demands include exerting up to 50 pounds of force, using hands and fingers for operation, and visual acuity for close work.
