Job summary

HCA HealthONE Swedish is seeking a PRN CT/X-Ray Technologist to perform comprehensive CT and X-ray imaging in the Swedish Southwest ER in Littleton, CO. The role requires independent work, strong patient care, and adherence to hospital standards.

You will work with one of the region's leading health systems, with opportunities to cross-train and grow within a large imaging department that supports a full range of diagnostic services.

Qualifications

• Solid to expert knowledge of diagnostic imaging procedures including X-rays, fluoroscopy, OR procedures, and portables.
• Registered Radiologic Technologist with current ARRT certification in Radiography and CT.
• Current BLS for Healthcare Providers per AHA/ARC requirements.
• Graduate of a 24-month AMA approved program in Radiologic Technology.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT and X-Ray procedures for a wide age range of patients.
• Maintain high quality patient care while adhering to Joint Commission standards.
• Cross-train to additional modalities as needed.

Job Summary and Qualifications

Responsible for solid to expert knowledge of all CT and X-Ray procedures. X-ray procedures include basic x-rays, fluoroscopy, C-Arms & OR Procedures and Portables.Communicates and works independently in performing all CT and X-Ray procedures on customers ranging in age from newborn to late adulthood. Prioritize, provides and promotes quality patient care to support the Mission, Vision and Values of the facility.Maintains and supports facility technical and documentation expectations consistent with Joint Commission regulations and standards. Positively reflects concern and consideration when interacting with patients, medical staff, and employees as outlined inHealthONE’sStandards of Behavior. Demonstrates independent critical thinking skills to assume accountability for personal and team contributions.Must be willing to cross-train to one or more modalities as required.

What qualifications you will need:

• Solid to expert knowledge of all diagnostic procedures to include x-rays and Portables.
• Registered technologist with current certification in Radiography (R) and CT by ARRTREQUIREDand CE compliance.
• Current BLS for Healthcare Provider certification through AHA or ARC.
• Graduate of 24-month AMA approved school of Radiologic Technology
• One-yeardiagnostic experiencerequired. CT experiencepreferred.

• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
