Job summary

Emerus Holdings, Inc. is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform CT and X-ray imaging at a technical level without constant supervision. You will support physicians, nurses and staff, operate imaging equipment, and ensure results are communicated to the on-duty physician.

The role requires ARRT radiography certification, CPR/BLS, and 2+ years of radiology experience; CT experience is preferred. Travel to facility locations may be required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED.
• Graduation from an AMA-approved school of Radiology Technology.
• Associate’s degree in Radiology preferred.
• Certified as a medical radiologic technologist as required by the practicing state.
• ARRT registered in radiography required; CT registration preferred.
• Current BLS certification through the American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical assistance and supportive patient care to assist physicians, nurses and other staff.
• Operate and maintain imaging department equipment including X-Ray, CT, CR reader and PACS.
• Perform imaging exams per policies and notify physician on duty of results.
• Perform basic clinical procedures under physician or nurse supervision.
• Maintain documentation and records in paper and electronic formats.
• Collect laboratory samples and perform testing per established policies and COLA/CLIA regulations.
• Maintain supplies of reagents and consumables for quality testing.
• Perform routine maintenance and function checks on imaging equipment.
• Perform Quality Control and proficiency testing as required.
• Retain analytic activity records for at least two years.
• Document Quality Assessment activities for review.
