Job summary

Griffin Health in Derby, CT is seeking a CT Technologist to perform CT and X-ray examinations, coordinate patient flow, and support timely, safe imaging services for inpatients, outpatients, the Emergency Department, and operating room patients.

The ideal candidate will hold a CT license in Connecticut with ARRT CT and Radiography certification, current CPR, and at least 2 years CT experience, with per diem hours including evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years CT experience required.
• Proficiency in venipuncture and IV placement required.
• Strong patient care, communication, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT and X-ray examinations according to physician orders and departmental protocols.
• Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures, ensuring comfort and safety.
• Coordinate patient scheduling and flow to maximize efficiency.
• Operate imaging equipment and perform quality control checks to ensure optimal image quality.
• Administer contrast media, perform venipuncture, and place IV lines as required.
• Maintain accurate patient records and adhere to all regulatory and safety standards.
• Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and nursing staff to support patient care.
