Job summary

Qualifications

• Proficient in performing diagnostic X-ray and CT exams per protocol.
• Familiar with RIS, PACS, and related hospital information systems.
• ARRT CT certification and Iowa radiography permit are required or in process.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT and X-ray exams with attention to patient safety and image quality.
• Explain procedures to patients and prepare them for CT/x-ray examinations.
• Validate patient identity and exam details; maintain accurate records in RIS/PACS.
• Supervise students or junior staff as applicable and ensure adherence to safety standards.
