Job summary

Baylor Scott & White Medical Center – Uptown seeks a PRN CT Radiology Technologist to support surgical procedures under radiologists. The role includes operating radiology equipment and maintaining sterility in the OR, with focus on collaboration with physicians and staff.

Required are an accredited radiology program, Texas MRT license, CPR certification, and ARRT eligibility or registration. Hospital experience is preferred for this PRN position.

Qualifications

• Hospital experience (1 year) preferred.

Responsibilities

Baylor Scott & White Medical Center – Uptown is a joint venture surgical hospital between Baylor Scott & White Health (BSWH), United Surgical Partners International (USPI), and local physicians. Baylor Scott & White Medical Center- Uptown provides a wide range of medical and surgical services to the greater North Texas area across 8 ORs, 24 private Inpatient rooms, a full-service ED. The hospital specializes in both inpatient and outpatient procedures in Orthopedics, Joint Replacement, Spine, General, Bariatrics, Surgical Oncology, ENT, Reconstructive Surgery, and other surgical specialties.

Weekends

We are currently seeking a PRN CT Radiology Technologist.

This individual will perform surgical procedures under the direction of radiologists and specialized physicians, including operation of special imaging and radiology equipment. This incumbent should be skilled at sterile field assistance during operating room and pain management procedures. This position maintains a professional relationship with physicians and staff.

Required Skills

• Graduate of an accredited program in radiology technology
• High school graduate or equivalent
• One year hospital experience preferred
• ARRT registered or eligible for registry
• Must have a current Texas state license (MRT)
• Certified in CPR
