Job summary

Hudson Regional Health is seeking an XRAY/CT Scan Technologist in Hoboken to perform high-quality radiographic and CT imaging. The role emphasizes patient safety, precise technique, and collaboration with radiologists to deliver timely diagnostic information.

The ideal candidate holds an accredited Radiologic Technology program, state licensure with CT certification, and experience with X-ray and CT procedures. Familiarity with PACS and MediTech, plus BLS, will be advantageous.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• Valid state licensure or certification as a Radiologic Technologist; CT Certification and AART.
• Proficiency in performing X-ray and CT scan procedures.
• Knowledge of radiation safety and protection standards.
• Strong communication skills to interact with patients and healthcare teams.

Responsibilities

• Perform X-ray and CT scan procedures following established protocols to produce clear, accurate diagnostic images.
• Prepare and position patients appropriately for imaging, ensuring their comfort and safety.
• Operate and maintain imaging equipment, troubleshoot issues and coordinate routine maintenance.
• Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare professionals to review images and ensure diagnostic quality.
• Maintain detailed patient records and imaging documentation per regulations and privacy standards.
• Adhere to radiation safety guidelines to minimize exposure to patients and staff.
• Educate patients about the imaging process and address questions.
