Job summary

Hudson Regional Hospital in Hoboken, NJ is seeking a Part-time XRAY/CAT Scan Technologist to perform high-quality radiographic and CT imaging. You will operate imaging equipment, position patients, and ensure safety while delivering accurate diagnostic images for radiologists and clinicians.

The role requires completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program, state licensure, CT certification, and AART. PACS/MediTech experience and BLS certification are advantageous.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• CT certification and AART licensure required.
• Proficiency in performing X-ray and CT procedures.
• Knowledge of radiation safety and protection standards.
• Strong communication with patients and healthcare team.

Responsibilities

• Perform X-ray and CT scan procedures following established protocols to produce clear and accurate diagnostic images.
• Prepare and position patients appropriately for imaging, ensuring their comfort and safety throughout the procedure.
• Operate and maintain imaging equipment, troubleshooting technical issues and coordinating routine maintenance as needed.
• Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare professionals to review images and ensure diagnostic quality.
• Maintain detailed patient records and imaging documentation in compliance with healthcare regulations and privacy standards.
• Adhere to radiation safety guidelines to minimize exposure to patients, staff, and self.
• Educate patients about the imaging process and answer any questions to alleviate concerns.
