Job summary

AdventHealth is seeking a part-time CT/X-ray Technologist to join our imaging team in Aurora, CO. You will perform radiographic exams, ensure patient safety, and operate diagnostic imaging equipment per protocol.

Responsibilities include patient positioning, documenting histories, and maintaining equipment and room readiness. Required credentials include BLS, RT(R), and RT(CT) certifications, plus an AMA-approved radiologic technology education or JCERT accreditation.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree required
• AMA-approved school in radiologic technology or JCERT accreditation preferred
• BLS, RT(R), RT(CT) licensure/certification required

Responsibilities

• Perform all radiologic exams per established protocols
• Operate imaging equipment safely and effectively
• Minimize radiation exposure and follow PPE protocols
• Position patients and equipment to obtain high-quality images
• Maintain clean, stocked radiology room and accurate patient records
• Explain procedures and obtain patient history as needed
• Screen patients for allergies and adapt imaging protocols as necessary
• Perform clerical duties related to radiology workflow
