Radiology Imaging Associates / Invision Sally Jobe seeks a part-time CT Technologist for Aurora, CO. The role involves performing CT procedures, patient escort and positioning, documentation, and collaboration with radiologists to deliver timely CT services.

The ideal candidate has ARRT CT certification, CPR/BLS, and maintains ARRT continuing education. Strong patient service skills and ability to work independently are essential for maintaining a professional imaging team.

Responsibilities

• Performs CT procedures as ordered achieving a high level of quality and timeliness
• Escorts patients to a treatment room and assists with dressings as necessary
• Completes all paperwork necessary to ensure timely delivery of CT services
• Explains CT procedures to address patient concerns and questions
• Practices radiation protection techniques to minimize radiation to patient and staff
• Completes related paperwork and obtains interpretation by the radiologist
• Conducts quality control measures to monitor machine performance and reports all malfunctions and/or need for adjustments to the site manager
• Focuses on customer service and users courtesy and poise when interacting with patients, staff, and visitors to maintain a professional atmosphere
• Required to respond to a medical emergency including administering CPR
• Assists patients with positioning on the exam table and may be required to assist patients to prevent falls
