Job summary

Northeast Georgia Health System in Georgia is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform CT and X-ray procedures under supervision, applying ionizing radiation for diagnostic purposes.

You will be responsible for patient prep, contrast administration, quality imaging, infection control, RIS documentation, and collaboration with imaging nurses. Candidates must have ARRT certification and a high school diploma; two years experience preferred.

Qualifications

• ARRT certification is required for radiologic technologists.
• High school diploma or GED and graduation from an ARRT program.

Responsibilities

• Operate CT and X-ray equipment per specifications and follow infection control practices.
• Adhere to radiation safety guidelines, including shielding and badge monitoring.
• Produce high-quality images within established protocols.
• Document patient records and RIS entries accurately.
• Coordinate with Imaging nurses and prep patients for exams.
• Attend department meetings and participate in staff training.
