Job summary

MDS Staffing is seeking a Radiologic Technologist in Harper, KS to join a hospital serving two communities. The role involves performing diagnostic imaging to support diagnosis and patient care, ensuring patient comfort and safety and maintaining imaging quality.

The ideal candidate will hold Kansas licensure as a Radiologic Technologist, ARRT certification, and proven CT and general X-ray experience. Hours are Monday-Friday, with on-call coverage; an efficiency apartment is available on-site

Qualifications

Licensed Radiologic Technologist with Kansas licensure.
ARRT certification.
Experience operating diagnostic imaging equipment (CT and X-ray).

Responsibilities

Perform diagnostic imaging procedures to aid in patient diagnosis and treatment.
Explain procedures to patients and ensure their comfort and safety.
Operate imaging equipment such as X-ray, CT, and other diagnostic tools to produce high-quality images.
Position patients accurately to capture optimal images for diagnosis.
Maintain and calibrate imaging equipment to ensure safety and accuracy.
Review images for quality and documentation; maintain detailed records.
Follow safety protocols and radiation safety guidelines for patients and staff.
Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare team members to interpret images.
Serve in the after hours on-call rotation with other technologists; efficiency apartment is available on-site for use when on-call.
