Job summary

Emerus seeks an imaging technologist to perform CT and X-ray procedures, operating all imaging department equipment and maintaining quality control. The role requires certification and experience, with travel to multiple facility locations as needed.

Responsibilities include patient care support, documentation, and collaboration with physicians, nurses, and staff to ensure accurate results and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED.
• AMA-approved school of Radiology Technology completed.
• Associate’s degree in Radiology preferred.
• Certified radiologic technologist (ARRT) in radiography required.
• ARRT certification in computed tomography preferred, with exceptions.
• CT certification required within 12 months of hire.
• Current BLS certification through the American Heart Association.
• 2+ years radiologic/imaging experience preferred.
• 1+ years CT experience preferred.
• 1+ years ER experience preferred.
• Proficiency with X-ray/CT equipment and PACS.
• English fluency, written and oral.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical assistance and supportive patient care to assist physicians, nurses and staff.
• Operate and maintain X-Ray, CT, CR reader, and PACS equipment.
• Perform imaging exams per policies and inform on-duty physician of results.
• Perform basic clinical procedures under physician/nurse direction.
• Maintain documentation, logs, charts and records in paper and electronic formats.
• Travel to all facility locations as required.
• Attend staff meetings and perform additional duties as assigned.
