Job summary

Emerus in Las Vegas is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform CT and X-ray imaging at a professional level with minimal supervision. You will operate and maintain imaging equipment, ensure accurate documentation, and collaborate with physicians, nurses and staff to meet patient needs across the facility.

The role requires ARRT radiography certification, BLS, and 2+ years in radiology; CT experience and PACS proficiency are essential, with travel to multiple locations as needed.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required
• Graduation from an AMA-approved school of Radiology Technology
• Associate's degree in Radiology preferred
• ARRT registration in radiography required
• ARRT registration in CT preferred or CT certification required within 12 months of hire
• Current BLS certification required
• 2+ years radiology/imaging experience preferred
• 1+ years CT experience preferred
• 1+ years ER experience preferred
• Proficiency with X-ray/CT equipment and PACS
• Fluency in English, written and oral

Responsibilities

• Provide imaging procedures (CT and X-ray) at a technical level without constant supervision
• Operate and maintain X-ray, CT, CR reader, and PACS equipment
• Schedule and perform imaging exams per policies and notify physician on duty of results
• Perform basic clinical procedures under physician/nurse direction
• Maintain documentation and records in paper and electronic formats
• Collect laboratory samples and perform lab testing per COLA/CLIA
• Maintain supplies for testing and perform routine maintenance and QC
• Perform proficiency testing and split sample analysis as required
• Retain analytic records for at least two years
• Complete Quality Assessment activities as directed by supervisor/director
• Perform ER technician duties as needed
• Travel to facility locations as required
• Attend meetings and perform additional duties as assigned
