Job summary

SSM Health Saint Louis University Hospital in Missouri is seeking a Cardiovascular CT technologist to perform CT procedures under radiologists' protocols. Completion of a Radiology program and required ARRT credentials are required, with cross training available for Cath Lab.

You will prepare/position patients, administer contrast media, monitor safety, and ensure radiation protection, with a flexible schedule including days, nights, weekends, and PRN options.

Qualifications

• Completion of a Radiology Technology, Nuclear Medicine or Radiation Therapy program
• ARRT-R Radiography or RCIS/CCI credential required or cross training may be provided

Responsibilities

• Prepares and positions patients and selects anatomic and technical parameters accurately.
• Prepares and administers contrast media and/or medications within the accepted scope of practice and applicable state and federal regulations.
• Observes patient during procedure and reports abnormal activity. Monitors protocols and recommends updates or refinements as warranted.
• Follows radiation safety procedures and guidelines.
• Works in a constant state of alertness and safe manner.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Pay Range

$32.48 - $48.72/hour Daily Pay available!

Shift Differentials:

Evening $2.50/hr, Night $3/hr, Weekend $2, Weekend Option $7.50/hr

Requirements:

Completion of Radiology program and ARRT-R or RCIS/CCI credential as a Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist & Cath Lab cross training can be provided!

Job Summary:

Performs computerized tomographic procedures for the diagnosis of disease and injury according to protocols established by radiologists. This position must perform at least 3 of the following procedures: biopsy, TAVR, coronary, watchman, extremity work for OR planning, ablations or fiducial placement.
