Job summary

HCA HealthONE Centennial is seeking a CT Technologist to perform CT imaging for patients from newborn to adult. You will ensure accurate instructions, administer contrast as needed, and position patients to capture optimal images.

The role requires ARRT CT certification, BLS, and at least 1 year of diagnostic experience (CT experience preferred). Weekend night shifts are required, with a $20,000 sign-on bonus for eligible candidates. Benefits and career growth opportunities available.

Qualifications

• Graduate of 24-month AMA approved school of Radiologic Technology and Certified by ARRT.
• ARRT-CT certification and CE compliance; current BLS.
• 1 year diagnostic experience required; CT experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT procedures on patients ranging from newborn to late adulthood.
• Prepare patients for radiologic procedures by positioning and adjusting immobilization devices; operate CT equipment.
• Communicate and work independently to capture appropriate images.
• Adjust exposure factors and operate CT scanners to acquire high-quality images.

Job Summary and Qualifications

Cat ScanTechnologists use computerized tomography (CT) scanners to produce cross-section images of patients’ internal organs and tissues for the diagnosis of medical issues. A CTTechnologist must be able to accurately interpret a physician’s scanning instructions, administer contrast materials, prepare and operate the CT scan equipment, and position the patient to capture the appropriate images. Here is some of what to expect as a CT Tech with us:

Your role is responsible for solid to expert knowledge of all CT procedures.

You will communicate and work independently in performing all CT procedures on customers ranging in age from newborn to late adulthood.

Your role uses computed tomography equipment to take images of a patient’s body from different angles.

You will prepare patients for radiological procedure by positioning patient; adjusting immobilization devices; moving equipment into specified position; adjusting equipment controls to set exposure factors.

Your role positively reflects concern and consideration when interacting with patients, medical staff, and employees.

What qualifications you will need:

• Graduate of 24-month AMA approved school of Radiologic Technology - Certified by ARRT.
• ARRT(RT)(CT)REQUIREDand CE compliance & Current BLS certificationrequired.
• 1 yeardiagnostic experience required. CT experiencepreferred.
