Qualifications

• ARRT CT certification required upon hire
• Basic Life Support (BLS) within 60 days required
• State licensure in practice location required
• IV access competency within 90 days required
• Fluoroscopy certification preferred for Colorado facility
• Level II: 3+ years CT tech experience preferred
• Demonstrated knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy and radiation safety

Responsibilities

• Maintain ARRT competency in clinical and technical tasks
• Operate CT equipment and related information systems
• Prepare patients and verify identity and orders
• Perform exams per department protocol
• Review images for quality and accuracy
• Adhere to radiation safety guidelines and maintain a safe environment
• Complete studies within time limits without compromising care or quality
• Provide patient education and address concerns
• Coordinate patient care with other providers
• Stay updated on CT advancements via continuing education
• Instruct students and other technologists on protocols and equipment
