Job summary

Vetted Solutions seeks a CT Technologist to deliver high-quality imaging and a supportive patient experience. You will perform CT procedures in accordance with department guidelines, operate imaging equipment, and help minimize radiation exposure.

Responsibilities include obtaining patient history, verifying orders, administering contrast, venipuncture, positioning patients, reviewing images in RIS/PACS, and maintaining equipment hygiene.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent and completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• Minimum 1 year of radiology experience.
• Certifications: ARRT-R (Radiography), ARRT-CT (Computed Tomography), and BLS (American Heart Association).

Responsibilities

• Operate imaging equipment independently, capturing diagnostic images while minimizing radiation exposure (ALARA).
• Obtain patient history, verify orders, and ensure patient safety and comfort using clear communication protocols like AIDET.
• Administer contrast agents, perform venipuncture, and position patients correctly.
• Review images for diagnostic quality, re-image if necessary, and document accurately in RIS/PACS systems.
• Maintain equipment hygiene, report issues promptly, and support infection control.
• Monitor patient conditions, respond to emergencies, and assist with life-support equipment.
• Support departmental workflow, ensure regulatory compliance, and keep work areas organized and stocked.
