Job summary

Qualifications

• Associate degree from an accredited Radiologic Technology or Nuclear Medicine program.
• ARRT registry eligible at hire, with ARRT certification required within 90 days.
• South Carolina limited license
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Proficiency in CT scanner operation and diagnostic CT imaging
• Strong commitment to patient care and safety

Responsibilities

• Operate CT scanners to perform diagnostic imaging examinations
• Prepare patients for procedures and explain examination processes clearly
• Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout each imaging procedure
• Follow established protocols to produce accurate, high-quality diagnostic images
• Collaborate with radiologists and clinical staff to support patient care
• Adjust imaging parameters based on patient needs and clinical requirements
• Maintain CT equipment, performing routine checks and reporting issues promptly
• Adhere to radiation safety standards and infection control procedures
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
• Provide courteous, compassionate customer service to patients and families
