Description

We are seeking a full-time CT Technologist to join our team on-site in Manning, South Carolina. This role offers the opportunity to perform diagnostic computed tomography imaging within a hospital setting, supporting patient care and the delivery of accurate diagnostic results for the physicians we serve.

As a CT Technologist, you will operate CT scanners, prepare patients for imaging procedures, and ensure the highest standards of safety, quality, and care throughout every examination. You will work closely with radiologists and the broader clinical team to support timely and reliable diagnoses that directly impact patient outcomes.

This position is part of a growing, locally owned and managed not-for-profit health system, offering day shift availability and a competitive compensation package of $30 to $40 per hour, along with a $10,000 sign-on bonus. New graduates are welcome to apply.

Responsibilities

• Operate CT scanners to perform diagnostic imaging procedures accurately and efficiently
• Prepare and position patients for CT examinations while maintaining comfort and safety
• Review patient history and imaging orders to ensure appropriate protocols are followed
• Monitor patients during procedures and respond promptly to any changes in condition
• Collaborate with radiologists to optimize image quality and support diagnostic accuracy
• Maintain CT equipment in proper working condition and report malfunctions or maintenance needs
• Adhere to radiation safety protocols and infection control standards at all times
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation of imaging procedures
• Provide courteous customer service to patients, families, and staff
• Uphold equipment care and quality standards in accordance with facility and regulatory requirements

Requirements

• Associate degree from an accredited Radiologic Technology or Nuclear Medicine program
• ARRT registry eligible at hire, with ARRT certification required within 90 days
• South Carolina limited license
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Proficiency in CT scanner operation and diagnostic CT imaging techniques
• Strong commitment to patient care and safety
• Preferred: Prior CT experience (new graduates are considered)
• Preferred: Experience working alongside radiologists in a clinical imaging environment
• Preferred: Familiarity with equipment care and quality standards
• Preferred: Strong customer service orientation and effective communication skills
