Job summary

Mount Desert Island Hospital in Bar Harbor, ME is seeking a CT Technologist to prepare and position patients for exams, administer contrast, and ensure high-quality CT imaging for radiologist interpretation. This weekend day shift role requires ARRT CT certification and Maine licensure.

Ideal candidates will have ARRT CT registration and a Maine radiologic technologist license, plus strong interpersonal skills and problem-solving abilities to support compassionate patient care in a rural setting.

Qualifications

ARRT CT registered or registry available with at least one year of experience.
Licensed Radiologic Technologist with the State of Maine.
Excellent interpersonal relationships.

Responsibilities

Prepare and position patients for CT exams.
Administer and monitor oral and IV contrast.
Develop and follow CT exam protocols.
Operate CT systems to produce high-quality images for radiologist review; weekend day shift.
