Job description

Role: CT Technologist responsible for performing imaging procedures with technical precision and patient care excellence.

Responsibilities

• Operate CT scanners and related equipment safely, ensuring high-quality images for interpretation.
• Prepare and position patients, review medical histories, and educate patients about procedures.
• Administer contrast media per protocol and monitor for adverse reactions.
• Review, verify, and submit images to PACS; perform quality control measures.
• Communicate effectively with patients and healthcare team, maintaining confidentiality and professionalism.
• Complete technical notes, document procedures, and ensure timely image processing.
• Participate in department meetings and adhere to safety and safety protocols.

Qualifications & Skills

• Technical School Diploma or equivalent, with less than 1 year of radiologic technologist experience.
• Proficiency in CT technology, imaging software, and post-processing applications.
• Knowledge of patient care, medical history review, and contrast administration.
• Strong interpersonal skills, positive attitude, and adaptability across patient ages and protocols.
• Certifications: BLS (within 30 days), RT-Radiology (upon hire), ARRT-CT (within 1 year), CNMT (upon hire).

Physical Demands: Ability to lift 40-50 lbs, stand/walk frequently, and perform activities like bending, kneeling, and CPR as needed.
