• Flat Rate: $80.00 hourly

Internal Travel Program (https://intermountainhealthcare.org/careers/) is part of Intermountain Health, a nonprofit healthcare organization focusing on person-centered care. Caregivers in our Travel Program enjoy 14-week rotations at locations throughout the Western Slope of Colorado, Denver Metro, and Montana areas.

Housing Reimbursement: If working 50 miles or more from your home, reimbursement amounts are determined by the site location, and receipts must be submitted within 30 days.

Essential Functions:

• Maintains ARRT or modality-specific competency in all clinical and technical functions.
• Ensures proper patient identification, verifies orders, and prepares patients for exams.
• Performs exams according to department protocols and reviews images for quality, clarity, and accuracy.
• Adheres to radiation safety guidelines and maintains a safe environment.
• Completes studies within acceptable time limits without compromising patient care or quality.
• Assists and instructs students and other CT Techs in exam protocols, procedures, positioning, and equipment.
• Provides patient education, ensures comfort, and addresses concerns.
• Practices infection control and sterile techniques.

Minimum Qualifications:

• ARRT Computed Tomography Certification/Registration (RT)(CT) required.
• One year of CT experience preferred in a hospital or ED setting.
• Ability to obtain Radiologic Technology License with Montana Board of Radiologic Technologists.
• Current BLS certification through the American Heart Association.
• IV Certification preferred.

Physical Requirements:

The CT Tech performs diagnostic procedures using ionizing radiation, requiring ingenuity, initiative, and independent judgment to produce high-quality scans.
