Job summary

Summa Health Akron Campus seeks a CT Technologist to operate CT and radiology equipment, obtain quality diagnostic images, and collaborate with radiologists. The role requires ARRT registration and an Ohio radiographer license, with CT registry preferred. Experience with radiology procedures and patient positioning is expected.

The position involves lifting and assisting with invasive procedures, providing patient care, and ensuring accurate record-keeping in a fast-paced hospital setting.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an AMA approved school of Radiologic Technology and ARRT-registered.
• Licensed as a Radiographer by the State of Ohio.
• Minimum one year radiology experience preferred; CT registry preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate CT and radiology equipment to produce diagnostic CT scans and radiographs.
• Process patient records and coordinate with radiologists for timely results.
• Assist with invasive procedures and evaluate images with radiologist.
