Job summary

The CT Technologist at Wellstar Douglas Hospital in Douglasville, GA delivers safe, high‑quality imaging while focusing on compassionate patient care. Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• Minimum 1 year experience in Radiology.
• ARRT-R (Radiography) and ARRT-CT certifications.
• BLS certification from American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT procedures according to department guidelines and capture quality diagnostic images.
• Operate imaging/radiographic equipment safely and maintain dose optimization (ALARA).
• Maintain rooms/equipment per infection control schedules.
• Verify orders, obtain patient identifiers, and explain procedures using AIDET.
• Ensure patient comfort, privacy and safety throughout the visit.
• Complete documentation in RIS/PACS and manage transfers as needed.
• Monitor patient condition and respond to emergencies.
