Job summary

Wellstar Health System seeks a skilled radiology technologist with CT experience for PRN shifts in Georgia. The role requires performing a variety of CT and radiography procedures, ensuring patient safety, accuracy, and timely imaging studies.

Qualifications

• Accredited Radiologic Technology program completed.
• ARRT Radiography and CT certifications required upon hire.
• Minimum 1 year experience in Radiology; CT experience preferred.
• Must demonstrate strong patient communication and safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Assist with a wide range of CT and radiography procedures.
• Verify clinician orders and patient identity prior to procedures.
• Explain procedures to patients to reduce anxiety using AIDET principles.
• Operate and maintain imaging equipment; monitor patient safety and comfort.
• Ensure proper documentation, order entry, and image transfer to PACS/RIS.
• Collaborate with radiology team and assist other technologists as needed.
