Job summary

Envision Imaging in Mansfield, TX seeks a Full-Time CT Trainee Technologist to join our team. The role focuses on performing CT examinations with supervision, patient positioning, and image quality optimization under a certified CT Technologist.

Responsibilities include coordinating with radiologists, maintaining equipment, and ensuring patient safety. Applicants should have CT/ARRT trajectory in progress or related licensure and be prepared to work a multi-shift schedule in a clinical

Qualifications

• Two years prior experience in diagnostic imaging (preferred).
• Graduate of an accredited Registered Technologist program.
• In progress of ARRT and CT Registry certifications; state license if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Interfaces with patient to ascertain medical history and provides instructions and explanation of the procedure and/or exam to obtain the best possible image.
• Reviews patient charts for missed clinical information and/or consent. Screens patients for surgical and other implants, contrast allergies, etc.
• Obtains prior films/exams as needed and performs high quality scans to submit to the Radiologist for interpretation.
• Performs exams while attending to patient’s care before, during and following exam and notifies the appropriate party if patient’s condition changes at any time.
• Transfers images to other locations as needed.
• Coordinates scan protocols with Radiologist.
• Maintains and regularly inspects equipment and immediately reports any quality concerns as well as equipment failures or deficiencies.
• Interfaces with Lead Technologist & Center/Area Manager regarding any and all departmental concerns.
• Other duties as assigned.

Registered Technologist program graduate

ARRT certification in progress

CT Registry in progress
