Job summary

Envision Imaging in Coppell, TX is seeking a full-time CT/X-Ray Technologist to join our team. The role focuses on performing diagnostic CT and X-Ray exams, adjusting settings, and positioning patients to obtain optimal images for interpretation by radiologists.

The ideal candidate has CT and X-Ray experience, ARRT certification, a CT and Radiography registry, CPR, and a state license. This position offers a Monday–Friday schedule with a 40-hour work week at competitive hourly pay.

Qualifications

• Two plus years’ experience in CT – preferred.
• Two plus years’ experience in X-Ray- preferred.
• Ability to educate patients on procedures being performed.
• Detail oriented, self-motivated, a problem solver and a team player.
• Ability to excel in a very fast-pace team environment.
• Ability to continuously “exceed” company and customer expectation.

Responsibilities

• Interfaces with patient to ascertain medical history and provide instructions and explanation of the procedure to obtain the best possible image.
• Reviews patient charts for missed information and/or consent. Screens patients for implants, contrast allergies, etc.
• Obtains prior films/exams as needed and performs high quality scans for radiologist interpretation.
• Performs exams while ensuring patient care before, during and after the exam and notifies appropriate party if condition changes.
• Transfers images to other locations as needed.
• Coordinates scan protocols with Radiologist.
• Maintains and inspects equipment, reports quality concerns or deficiencies.
• Interfaces with Lead Technologist & Center/Area Manager on departmental concerns.
• Other duties as assigned.
