Job summary

Prime Healthcare in Chicago is seeking a CT Technologist Trainee (Non-Certified) to provide hands-on training in a fast-paced hospital environment. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with experienced CT Techs while preparing for ARRT-CT Certification within 6 months.

Successful candidates will assist in capturing diagnostic images, prepare patients for exams, and ensure safety standards. The position provides a competitive salary range of $31.30 to $45.33 per hour along with a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• One year of acute, clinical radiology experience preferred.
• Must possess and maintain BCLS (AHA) upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Assist in real procedures alongside experienced CT Techs.
• Capture high-quality diagnostic images using advanced imaging technology.
• Safely prepare and position patients for efficient exams.
• Support Radiologists and ensure smooth workflows.
• Maintain safety, infection control, and accurate documentation.

Skills

Knowledge of anatomy and medical terminology

Proficient computer skills

Education

Radiology state license

Current ARRT-RT Certification

ARRT-CT Certification (to be obtained within 6 months)
