Job summary

HCA Florida Poinciana Hospital is seeking a CT Technologist to operate CT scanners, prepare patients, position them for imaging, and ensure diagnostic-quality cross-sectional images per physician orders. The role supports acute care imaging services within a busy hospital setting.

The ideal candidate holds RT/R Radiologic Technologist credentials, ARRT-R, and BLS certification within 30 days, with vocational training completing the required program.

Qualifications

• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• RT Radiologic Technologist/Radiographer credential.
• ARRT-R Radiography credential.
• Vocational School Graduate or equivalent training.

Responsibilities

• Operate CT scanners and related equipment to produce diagnostic cross-sectional images per physician orders.
• Prepare equipment, position patients and ensure high-quality images.
• Follow safety protocols and maintain documentation of procedures.

SCHEDULE: Sunray FSED; Monday-Wednesday, 6:00am - 6:30pm

Job Summary:

Utilizes computerized tomography (CT) scanners and other required equipment to produce cross-section images of patients’ internal organs and tissues for the diagnosis of medical issues. Follows physician orders, prepares equipment, positions patients, and correctly and accurately captures the requested diagnostic images.

What qualifications you will need:

• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• (RT) Radiologic Technologist/Radiographer
• (ARRT-R) Radiography
• Vocational School Graduate

HCA Florida Poinciana Hospital is a purpose-guided healthcare provider. We are a four-story, 150,000-square-foot hospital. We have 70 private beds and a six-bed private ICU. We provide a full range of acute care services including emergency services, inpatient and outpatient diagnostic imaging, and inpatient and outpatient surgery. Other services include cardiac catheterization, laboratory, pharmacy, and a full range of support services. Our Emergency Department (ED) is approximately 14,500 square feet. Our ED consists of 22 private treatment rooms, an EMS entrance, and a helicopter pad.
