Job summary

Carle Health is seeking a CT Technologist to perform routine and specialized CT examinations, adapting procedures to obtain diagnostic results under radiologist direction. The role requires ARRT CT certification, ARRT Radiography, BLS, and an Illinois radiologic license or equivalent.

Qualifications

ARRT CT certification within 1 year of hire.
ARRT Radiography (R) certification required.
BLS certification within 30 days of hire.
Radiologic Technologist license (IEMA or state) required.
Certificate/Associate degree in Radiologic Technology or related field.

Responsibilities

Perform CT procedures with accuracy and completeness per guidelines and radiologist directions.
Operate CT equipment and adjust procedures based on patient condition.
Document pre- and post-procedure information in HIS STAR Radiology system.
Maintain safety and QA/QC standards throughout procedures.
Assist radiologist with invasive procedures and related tasks.
