Job summary

Carle Health in Illinois is seeking a CT Technologist to perform routine and specialized CT examinations under radiologist direction. You will adapt procedures to obtain diagnostic results and ensure patient safety across all ages.

Qualifications

• Must be ARRT certified in CT within 1 year
• BLS certification within 30 days of hire
• Licensed Radiologic Technologist (IEMA/IEMA equivalent)

Responsibilities

• Perform CT exams accurately and efficiently for all ages
• Demonstrate competency in CT radiography and specialized procedures
• Maintain patient safety and infection control standards
• Collaborate with radiologists and technologists to ensure quality images
• Document procedure details and communicate findings per protocol
• Operate and troubleshoot CT equipment and related software
• Support department operations and patient flow to minimize wait times
