Job summary

CommonSpirit Health's Lakewood facility in Colorado is seeking a CT Technologist to perform diagnostic CT imaging, ensuring patient safety and high-quality results. You will lead and support a clinical team, provide patient education, and coordinate care with radiology staff.

The role emphasizes ALARA practices, strong communication, and technical proficiency across CT procedures. The unit operates in a fast-paced trauma-focused environment at a major hospital site.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED required.
• ARRT registry (CT/N/T) or ARRT(R) with CT training.
• State Radiology Tech license for Kansas site.
• BLS certification.
• 1 year of related experience.

Responsibilities

• Performs diagnostic imaging procedures with emphasis on safety for patient and staff.
• Complies with ALARA radiation safety principles to minimize exposure.
• Produces high-quality images accurately and promptly.
• Instructs patients and families about procedures and addresses requests and concerns.
• Assesses patient condition during procedures and documents any unusual occurrences.
• Performs IV starts and contrast administration as required.
